Newspaper routes are seven days a week. Our company policy is that all newspapers must be delivered by 6 a.m. Monday-Saturday and 7:30 a.m. on Sunday. Carriers are responsible for all supplies (plastic bags). These are purchased from the Journal office.
You must have dependable transportation and insurance on your vehicle. If there are customers paying the carrier, you are responsible for the collection. Pay depends on amount of newspapers delivered.

Retail Advertising Sales Rep Advertising Full Time

This outside sales position sells and services clients with advertising needs in the Kernersville/Walkertown area. Position is responsible for conducting needs analyses, creating presentations, designing ads, growing existing business.
Hawker Coordinator Circulation Part-Time
Valid NC Driver’s license and good driving record
Excellent communication skills
Basic math skills and problem solving abilities
This position coordinates the hawker program within the city by transporting
street vendors and newspapers to city locations and handling sales proceeds. Must be bondable.
Production Worker Packaging Part-time
Ability of lift up to 25 lbs.
Production experience helpful
Ability to work flexible schedule (nights). Saturday work is mandatory.
This position is responsible for the insertion of advertising circulars into the newspaper using production equipment.
