Statesville’s dreams of postseason glory ended in the second round of the 3A state playoffs for the second straight year. Concord Robinson, the No. 6 seed, slowly built momentum throughout the third and fourth quarters and took the lead late in the game for a season-ending 79-71 upset over third-seeded Statesville.
