Patience needed as DA makes decision
I want thank everyone for their support, prayers and votes in the last city council election. As we go forward, I want to make it clear that the process we are now in does not involve me or anyone in my campaign. This is between Flake Huggins and the District Attorney. I know this process has turned out to be a long one. I want to ask everyone to please be patient and remain prayerful as we wait for the DA to make her ruling on whether Flake Huggins and his family will face any criminal charges for possible voter fraud. I will support what ever decision the DA makes and ask that everyone do the same. We as a community need closure. In order for the community to start the healing process, we first must find out if criminal acts were done in the last two elections. I also want everyone to remain involved in the political process. Ward 6 will be holding our precinct meeting in March, at Shiloah AME Zion Church, date and time to be announced. For more information, please feel free to contact me. Politics is not dirty. But we tend to judge the political process by acts committed by politicians. JD Williams Statesville
