Statesville dry cleaner's van stolen

»  Comments | Post a Comment

A van was stolen from a local dry cleaning business sometime between 6 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

Statesville Police Department Chief Tom Anderson said the van was stolen from Jenkins Cleaners on East Front Street. Anderson said employees came to work Friday and discovered one of the business’ vans was gone and another had been broken into.

He said the radio was taken out of the van left at the business.

A white 2005 GMC Savanna van, with the business name on both sides and the back, was missing, he said.

Anderson said the key was left in the ignition and the van left unlocked.
