Clayton report
Sales at Clayton Home Sales Centers, including the stores serving Statesville, are up 22 percent in the first half of 2010.

New panelist
Iredell-Statesville Schools Life Safety Coordinator Chuck Gallyon was recently placed on AT&T's North Carolina Consumer Advisory Panel.
According to an AT&T press release, creating the panel is one of the ways the company is seeking to meet the needs of its customers, and is set up to facilitate a dialogue to address concerns and provide feedback on a range of issues.
The 20 members of the panel are from all areas of the state and represent consumers of all age groups, as well as small and large businesses, according to the press release.
Award earned
Statesville-based Aspire Wealth Management President and Financial Adviser Bryan Philpott was recently awarded the professional designation as a registered financial consultant (RFC) by the nonprofit educational and professional organization International Association of Registered Financial Consultants.
Financial advisers who meet seven criteria earn the designation: education, examination, experience, ethics, financial licensure, conduct and continuing professional education.

Training complete
Mooresville-based Marilyn Atlas recently completed a clinical hypnosis training course.
This training will help her assist patients who are suffering from chronic insomnia, headaches, the adverse effects of chemotherapy, and anxiety.
Atlas, a board certified hypnotist, practices at Atlas Counseling Center at 816-F Brawley School Road, Suite 4 in Mooresville.
The seminar was co-sponsored by the Duke Center for Integrative Medicine and the University of North Carolina Program on Integrative Medicine.
