Is I-SS Board of Education providing proper oversight?

I am writing this letter in response to the article by Chyna Broadnax concerning the salary of Terry Holliday, superintendent of the Iredell-Statesville Schools. In the article it was stated that Dr. Holliday earns a salary of $170,462 and that his salary is barely in the top 30 of all superintendent salaries in North Carolina.
