Opponents blast McHenry for mailing cards to 100,000 constituents

Opponents facing U.S. Rep. Patrick McHenry in the Republican primary are taking him to task over a recent mailing they said is nothing more than campaign material.
Morganton businessman Vance Patterson, one of the three GOP contenders for the 10th District seat, calls the mailing "outrageous and inexcusable" and wants McHenry to resign his seat on the House Oversight and Government Reform Census Subcommittee.
