Horizon Church, 1203 Free Nancy Ave., Statesville, will host a fundraiser called Project Haiti to lend support to the poverty-stricken country in response to last month's devastating earthquake.
According to a Horizon Church press release, the event will include singers, dancers, spoken-word artists and a comedian, and proceeds will be donated to international Christian relief organization Samartian's Purse to assist the thousands who have been affected by the earthquake, which has killed more than 200,000 people.
The event will start at 6 p.m. Feb. 20 at the church. Doors open at 5 p.m. Admission is free. Donations and a free will offering will be accepted.
Performers include: Eternity of Morganton, Radikal Praize of Greensboro, Ja Band, Sacred, Landmark Church of God Choir, Tabernacle of Joy Ministries Praise Team, Visions Outreach Ministry Praise Team, Josh Young & Company, gospel comedian Rev Clee and more.
