Motorcyclists escort piece of World Trade Center through Iredell

Hundreds of motorcyclists made their way south on Interstate 77 today escorting a piece of the World Trade Center.

The motorcade made a fuel and food stop at Exit 54 this morning, and plans to resume its ride shortly after noon. Motorists on southbound Interstate 77 should be on the lookout for the riders, who will be escorted by State Troopers and Iredell County Sheriff's deputies.
