Paving, shoulder work and painting will close one lane of northbound Interstate 77 near Tomlin Mill Road through Friday, according to the NC Department of Transportation.
The work began this morning from mile markers 59 to 63 and will occur around-the-clock until Friday afternoon. The expected impact to traffic is low.
One lane of southbound I-77 will be closed from mile markers 69 to 64 until Friday for road surface patching.
