Raiders breeze to first-round victory over Anson

North Iredell's state title defense got off to a good start Saturday.
The defending 3A state champion Raiders defeated Anson County in three games in their 3A state playoff opener.
No other information was available on this match.
North (20-4) will play at Mt. Pleasant (16-5), the top seed from South Piedmont Conference, on Tuesday.
The winner of that contest moves on to the third round, where it will face either Charlotte Catholic (21-5) or Carson (22-5).
