Statesville Christian's boys soccer team is seeded fifth in the N.C. Independent Schools Athletic Association 1A playoff bracket.

The Lions learned their seeding Thursday.

Statesville Christian drew Elon School (3-8-1) in the first round of the 16-team bracket.

That match is at 4:30 p.m. today at Statesville Christian.

Also announced Thursday were the South Piedmont Athletic Association all-conference and all-tournament teams.

Garrison Dale and Daniel DeGraff were both selected to the first team.

Blake Dunlap, Dillon Makar and Daniel Willis all made the second team.

Dale, DeGraff, Makar and Nick Pruitt were also voted to the all-tournament team.
