Mooresville's boys and Lake Norman's girls were the easy winners of Wednesday's I-Meck Conference championships.
The Blue Devils scored 25 points to easily outdistance Mallard Creek (58) for the title.
The Wildcats, meanwhile, had the top three finishers to score 20 points. Mallard Creek (66) was a distant second.
Blue Devils senior Josh Cox was the individual winner, clocking in at 16 minutes, 28 seconds.
Jordan Sledge (17:01) was third while Alex Brito, Jordan Hall and Kevin Courson all finished in the top 10.
Lake Norman's boys finished with 60 points, finishing third place. The Wildcats missed second place by two points.
Michael Marshburn (17:08, fourth) and Sebastien Carpentier (17:11, fifth) led the Wildcats.
Jenny Gallagher led Lake Norman's girls team by finishing first overall. Her winning time was 19:30.
Teammate Taylor Sweet was seven seconds behind to take second while Kelsie Rubino (19:38) was third.
The Blue Devils took fourth place with 78 points, two behind third-place Mallard Creek.
Emily Nesbitt (21:10) finished seventh for Mooresville.
