Raiders advance to semifinals

OLIN - North Iredell advanced to the North Piedmont Conference tournament semifinals with an easy 3-0 win Monday over West Rowan.
The Raiders, seeded second in the NPC, won 25-8, 25-16 and 25-14.
Haley Rhyne finished with 11 kills and four aces to pace the Raiders.
Rachel Wells added 31 assists, 13 digs, five kills and five aces and Brooke Redmond finished with eight digs and seven kills.
North Iredell will play either No. 3 seed Carson or No. 6 seed East Rowan. The semifinals and championship are at South Rowan.
