Errors costly to Wildcats

Lake Norman outgained Vance, picked up more first downs and was penalized less Friday, but the Wildcats fell 7-0.
Turnovers cost them a shot at finishing above .500 in their first season in the I-Meck Conference. With only two league games left, the best the Wildcats (6-3, 1-3 I-Meck) can do is 3-3.
Lake Norman committed five turnovers against Vance, including one lethal miscue. The Cougars returned a fumble 98 yards for the only score of the game.
