Statesville and West Rowan battled each other all year for conference supremacy, so it fittingly came down to the North Piedmont Championship match to decide the victor.
In the end, Kathryn Palmes carded a 90, Kathryn Vance shot a 93 and the Greyhounds edged West Rowan by one stroke on the final season scores.
Statesville trailed by two strokes in the season standings entering the tournament, which was played at Statesville Country Club.
West Rowan's Katy Knepp did her part with an 88 to win the individual tournament championship, but the Greyhounds had too much depth.
Rachel Soltysiak carded a 105 to finish third for Statesville while Cameron Bradley had a 107.
North Iredell's Logan Fox also had a strong showing. She shot a 101 on the 5,680-yard course.
