Liburdi Dimetrics will move its headquarters from Davidson to Mooresville, following the approval of financial incentives from Mooresville and Iredell County.

Dimetrics, currently located on Armour Street in Davidson, will purchase an 86,000-square-foot building at 2599 Charlotte Highway and move its 80 employees there. The company estimates a total investment of about $6 million in Iredell, said Russell rogerson, executive director of the Mooresville-South Iredell Economic development Corp.

Liburdi Dimetrics manufacturers orbital welding products and precision lathes, seamers and positioners. The company plans to move its operations to Mooresville by the end of the year.
