Barker, Kohler lead South runners

Brannigan Barker had the highest showing at Tuesday's Iredell County Cross Country Championships.

Barker finished in 14th place overall in the girls race with a time of 24 minutes, 44 seconds.

Next best was Payton Blankenship, who finished in 27:57 for 29th place.

On the boys side, Peter Kohler's time of 20:57 was good for 22nd place.

Teammate Preston Fox (22:57) was 27th.
