The NC Department of Transportation closed one lane of northbound traffic near Tomlin Mill Road.

Crews are placing a milled rumble strip on the shoulder and snowplow markers from mile markers 61 to 58.

Work is expected to last from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Tuesday.
