I-40 roadwork expected to cause delays

The NC Department of Transportation will close one of two westbound lanes of Interstate 40 from mile markers 150 to 146 Thursday and Friday.

Crews will work on the pavement around the clock. Motorists are advised to be aware of slow or stopped traffic in the area.
