Three members of South Iredell's football team have signed to play at the next level.

Markevis Dalton and C.J. Parks both signed a grant-in aid to play for Methodist College.

Dalton is a big-play wide receiver who was named to the R&L all county football second team as a junior and senior.

Operating out of a run-first offense, Dalton caught 41 passes for 939 yards and 11 touchdowns over the last two seasons.

Parks transferred from North Iredell this year and was an immediate starter on South's defensive line.

Lineman Rob Cannon, who was named to the R&L all county football team as a senior, committed to Louisburg Junior College.

Cannon brings ideal size (6-foot-2, 340 pounds) and toughness.
