Four people were apprehended Friday night after police said they were spotted trying to break into a car.

Phillip Heath, 26, William Heath, 23, Joshua Miller, 21 and Kenneth Stewart, 21, were all charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

Capt. David Onley of the Statesville Police Department said that two workers at the Statesville Civic Center spotted four people trying to break into a car, which was parked at the civic center.
They notified police, and the four were located nearby, Onley said They were identified by the workers and then arrested.
