West baseball stars decide on colleges

Three West Iredell seniors have given colleges verbal commitments to play baseball next year.

Catcher Josh Clark is heading to Catawba Valley Community College. Third baseman Michael Gatton will join Guilford College's squad, and Bluefield State will welcome Derek Rose.

The trio helped West Iredell reach the playoffs this season for the first time since 1999.
