Freedom Christian Center

Mooresville City Church

Continental breakfast is provided at the Sunday worship at 10 a.m. Services are held at the National Guard Armory, N. Broad St. Details: 704-562-1902.

Tuesday Night Fellowship is held from 7-8 p.m. Join for this time of round table discussion on the issues of life.

Holy Communion is served at the 10 a.m. service on the first Sundays.

Fourth Sundays are Soul Food Sunday. This will be a time of free food and fellowship with friends and families of the Mooresville community.

Lakeside Presbyterian

The canned food drive continues at the church. There is a bin for the canned goods in the hallway. These will be given to the Mooresville Soup Kitchen.

Redeemer's Light UMC

Relight is a Christian church that offers a casual, come as you are environment in which the message of Jesus is authentically presented in a way that is relevant to your everyday life. The talks are meaningful and uplifting and the music is current and upbeat. At Relight, all are invited, and all are welcome.

Sunday services at 10 a.m. at Mooresville Intermediate School, Coddle Creek Hwy. Children's church, "Kidz Outlet" meets at 10 a.m. for ages 3-5th grade. Also on Sunday Hoop Night 5-8 p.m. will be at the Intermediate School. All youth middle school through college age are invited to join us for a night of games and fun. Wednesdays our Xtreme Youth group meets at the Fieldstone Presbyterian Church gym from 6:45-8:30 p.m. Life Groups are offered on a continual basis.

Williamson's Chapel UMC

We go to Galveston, Texas on July 25-Aug. 2 for rebuilding in areas devastated by the hurricanes.

The youth council will meet on June 9 at 6 p.m.

Williams Wednesdays for Women are underway at 10 a.m. with three studies being offered.

Williamson's Chapel United Methodist Church, 575 Brawley School Road, is offering a new Saturday service at the church at 6 p.m. "Connexion" has begun, and offers contemporary music, Bible messages and the opportunity to make new friends and worship Christ in a casual, friendly community. The singles ministry at Williamsons Chapel has ongoing events including: coffee time to welcome and visit with singles between services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays in the old parlor A from 10:45-11:15 a.m.; Bible study which meets Wednesdays from 7-8:30 p.m. in Room B201. Childcare is provided. No reservations are needed; Members work on a Habitat for Humanity program the first and third Saturdays of each month. Fieldstone Presbyterian

Fieldstone gathers for Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and for worship at 11 a.m. on Sundays and offers various activities throughout the week to deepen our spiritual walk. Anyone in the community is welcome to join for any or all of their events. Call to confirm time and location at 704-663-2188.

Studies will be held during the week as follows: Monday night study on "Mary, The Mother of Jesus" from 6-8 p.m.; Tuesday morning Bible Study on Revelation, from 10-11:30 a.m.; Wednesday night program, including children's choir, supper, Tonechimes, Adult Bible Study, and Children's Bible Study; Friday Night Theology on Tap at Beef O'Brady's from 6-8 p.m.; Couples' Bible study, the first Saturday of each month; and Spiritual Leadership Certificate Program, Sundays from 5-7 p.m.; Youth group meets twice per month.

The community is invited to join us for our weekly hotdog lunches, which are held every Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Donations are gladly accepted for this meal.

Holy Eucharist Rite II is held at 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sundays.

Park Avenue UMC

Wednesday night church activities on June 3 include the fellowship meal from 6-6:30 p.m., KICC's (children's) and God Squad (youth) events from 6:30-8 p.m. and informal worship service from 6:45-8 p.m.

On June 4, the United Methodist Men will meet at 6 p.m. with Tim Strickland, UMM president – Lake Norman District, as the guest speaker.

Sunday services on June 7 begin with contemporary worship service at 8:45 a.m., Meet and Greet with donuts and coffee at 9:45 a.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m. and traditional worship service at 11 a.m.

Broad Street UMC

On Sundays, the Rainbow Ringers practice at 4 p.m. and the UM KIDS meet at 5 p.m.

On Wednesdays the Master's Ringers practice at 5:30 p.m., and the Joyful Ringers and adult choir practices at 6:30 p.m.

Broad Street United Methodist Seniors (B.U.M.S.) will meet on June 4 at 10 a.m. to go to Joe Gibbs Racing in Huntersville.

UM Kids In Action will have their end of school party on June 14 at the Moore's residence.

The John Roberts Class will sponsor Bingo at Genesis ElderCare on June 9 from 6:30-8 p.m. Anyone may come to Genesis and volunteer.

Broad Street will be sponsoring a Red Cross blood drive on June 11 from 3:30-8 p.m. at the church, 355 S. Broad St.

The Church Council will meet on June 14at 6:30 p.m. Note the time change due to Fathers' Day.

Volunteers are needed to help the Macdonald family load the moving truck as they prepare to move to Andrews. The first time is on June 16 at 7 p.m., and the second time is on June 27 at 10 a.m.

Coddle Creek ARP

The Executive Board of the Women of the Church meets Sunday at 4:30 p.m. followed by the joint meeting of the circles at 5 p.m.

A college age Sunday School Class will meet this summer for 8 weeks beginning June 14. Graduating high school seniors, college students, and young singles are encouraged to attend.

The Hayer Family will hold its reunion at Coddle Creek on Sunday.

A home school group will hold its graduation service here on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Historical Concerns Committee will meet following the worship service on Sunday.

Vacation Bible School will be held June 21-26.

The Pressly Circle is working on a project to donate $500 to the Christian Hospital in Pakistan to provide a scholarship for a young girl who is studying to be a nurse. Spiritual training is a top priority for these students, and all of them are encouraged to take part in the school's religious activities. If you desire to help with this project, speak to Marie Wallace.

A playgroup for moms and children is meeting on Fridays at 10 a.m. Contact Haley Bormann for more information.

A book exchange table is located in the foyer of the fellowship hall. All books can be had for 50 cents each. Proceeds will be divided between the Community Pregnancy Center and the Mooresville Area Bible Teachers' Association.

The Wolf Scouts meet Mondays at 6:30 p.m., and the Tiger Scouts meet on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.

A group is meeting each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. praying for the effort to plant a daughter congregation.

The youth groups meet at 5 p.m. on the second, third, fourth and fifth Sundays.

Berea Baptist

Join on Wednesdays for family supper at 6 p.m., for Berea Kids at 6:30 p.m., and adult Bible study at 7 p.m.

The Women on Mission night group meet the fourth Tuesday of each month.

The Baptist Women's evening group meets on June 16 at 7 p.m.

Our youth will be going to Deep Impact Mission Camp this summer in Red Springs.

An Open House will be held at the church on June 14 at 3 p.m. to celebrate William Hutchison's graduation from Independence High School.

Mother's Morning Out meets on Mondays and Wednesdays at 9 a.m.

The 2-cents-a-meal offering will be received on June 28.

The Ada Williams Circle meets on June 7 at 3 p.m.

Rev. David Olah is pastor of the church. Worship service is at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays, and Sunday school is held at 10:45 a.m.
