EnergyExplorium hosts August movie night

The EnergyExplorium at McGuire Nuclear Station will host its last free outdoor movie of the summer on Friday, August 7, at 8:21 p.m. The movie feature is "Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian". The event will be held on the lawn at the EnergyExplorium; however, it can also be enjoyed by boaters on Lake Norman.
"We had a great turnout for our first summer movie on July 10 with more than 900 attendees and several boats in our cove," said Valerie Patterson, community and public affairs manager for McGuire. "We appreciate the community's support and we look forward to seeing our Lake Norman neighbors again for our next movie feature."
Movie-goers may pack a picnic and bring blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy the show.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
