Tastes for Habitat, a fundraiser for the 2009 Women Build at Our Towns Habitat for Humanity, will be held Sunday, Aug. 2, from 2-6 p.m., at the Havana Ballroom, 17105 Kenton Drive, in Cornelius. The event will include appetizers by specialty chefs, dance lessons and a silent auction including travel destinations, spa packages and more. Individuals and couples are welcome.
