The young people in our community are damned if they do and damned if they don't. I have read so much about people complaining about skateboarders and now I see disparaging comments in the online edition of the R&L. One was concerning a wreck and someone made the remark "maybe they were dodging a skateboarder."

I know several young people who ride skateboards, including my grandson, who is an honor roll student and a very respectful young man. Give these kids a break and leave them alone and let them enjoy their skateboards!
