Twenty Mooresville High School students and give Mooresville Middle School students have been selected for the 2009 South Central All-District Band, it was announced Monday.

The combined band will rehearse and perform at the All District Band Clinic the weekend of Jan. 30-31, to be held in Mooresville. The clinic concludes with a 2 p.m. concert on Jan. 31.

Admission to the concert is free.

A complete list of the local students named to the All-District Band will be published in Wednesday's Mooresville Tribune.
