Young garners votes for cutest baby award

And the winner is... Abigail Elizabeth Young.
Out of 112 contestants Abigail has been voted the cutest baby in Iredell County.
She is the daughter of Heather Campbell, of Harmony.
The 6-month-old received 2,540 votes with the second highest number of votes being 1,660.
Having been named the cutest baby in the county comes with a plethora of prizes.
The total prize package is worth more than $940.
The family received prizes including gift cards, gas cards, free movies passes, a two month free gym membership, a free photography session, and much more.
Abigail was entered into the contest by Heather's dad, Mike Campbell.
"I was happy, but I didn't think I was going to win," she said.
When hearing her daughter was chosen, Heather was in disbelief.
"I was shocked," she said. "It was a lot of babies in the contest."
She said she was excited because "she won out of all the babies."
Abigail who has brown hair and bright blue eyes, loves to grab objects and everything goes into her mouth, her mom said.
She is a happy baby, her mom said.
"She laughs at anything," Heather said. "She loves attention."
