Horses stolen from North Iredell residence

Iredell County sheriff's deputies are investigating the theft of two horses from a residence in the 500 block of Troy Mill Road in Hamptonville.
According to an incident report, an Arabian quarter horse mix named Trigger and a Painted mare named Breezy were taken between 6 p.m. March 23 and 5:30 p.m. on March 24.
The sheriff's office estimates that Trigger is worth around $2,400 and Breezy is worth $1,600.
