Due to an extremely unlucky and mind-blowing tragedy, the fifth and final installment to the highly popular 'Twilight' series has been canceled.

The cause of this being an online leak of a sketchy and unfinished rough draft of the first 12 chapters of the most anticipated novel among teens. The leak has caused chaos for author, Stephenie Meyer, and her decision to pull the book was a heartbreaking task.

The 'Twilight' series includes the New-York best selling titles: 'Twilight', 'New Moon', 'Eclipse', and 'Breaking Dawn'. 'Midnight Sun' was expected to end the unforgettable journey of Bella Swan, your average human teenager, and Edward Cullen, her hunky, vampire boyfriend.

The series has been an instant hit since it's first release date and this event has surely caused much heartache among fans.

Readers were thrilled for the release of the final book for many reasons, one major reason being the fact it was due to show the irresistible heartthrobs', Edward's, point of view. And if that wasn't enough, just having another book in the series had readers growing in excitement.

Sadly, the novel will not be coming our way. After much distress and many tears, author, Stephenie Meyer has pulled the novel for good. "

I feel too sad about what has happened to continue working on 'Midnight Sun,' " Meyer wrote on her Web site. She said the violation of her rights has turned her away from completing the novel.

She did, however, post the incomplete draft on her Web site, www.stepheniemeyer.com, so those loyal readers may also enjoy, at the very least, the beginning of the captivating conclusion.

Meyer hopes this will leave her fans with a greater understanding of the copyright laws and the importance of artistic control over ones work. This huge violation should be a wake-up call to everyone and surely a lesson on the evils that some bring into our world.

Now, the question readers are left with, when it comes to the 'Twilight' series is: "What's next?" Lucky for them, 'Midnight Sun' was not the only project in progress.

On Nov. 21, 'Twilight Movie' is to hit theaters, thrilling all audiences. Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, are excited for the film and expect great reviews.

The film is to show the arrival of Bella in Forks, Washington and the first events she must get past that we saw in the first book. These include: meeting Edward and discovering his deep, dark, secret of being a vampire and fighting off James, the tracker-vampire who is after her life.

Pattinson is even expecting a sequel or two to the film already, believing the demand will surely be present.

"I set up my performance to make it satisfying to do at least two more," he said at the Video Music Awards. "I don't know if they're going to make them or not, but they probably will."

So Twilighters should not dwell too much on the horrible and unfortunate outcome of the beloved and final novel, 'Midnight Sun', for there is more to the awesome adventure coming their way.
