Romito named All-American scholar

The United States Achievement Academy announced that Brian Edgar Romito from Statesville has been named an All-American Scholar.

Brian, who is a student at West Iredell High, was nominated by teacher Carol Johnson.

He will appear in the All-American Scholar Yearbook which is published nationally.

Brian is the son of Rickey Harris and Diane Bragau from Statesville. He is the grandson of Phyllis Harris and the late William Harris and Lillian Tharpe and Clarence Pitts, all of Statesville.
