Statesville's swim team has gotten its share of action already this season, but the school's other winter sports teams have not.

That changes this week.

The Greyhounds wrestling team is slated to open its season Wednesday in the Bear Classic at Bunker Hill. Meanwhile, the Statesville girls basketball team opens with a tough challenge Saturday, playing defending 1A state champion Bishop McGuinness.
