Statesville garbage collection schedule altered for Thanksgiving

Statesville City Government Offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, in observance of Thanksgiving. There will be no garbage collection on those days.
The revised schedule for residential routes is: Monday's route will operate on the same schedule; Tuesday and Wednesday routes will run on Tuesday, Nov. 25; Thursday and Friday routes will run on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
The revised schedule for commercial routes with garbage cans or rollout containers is: Monday and Tuesday routes will operate on Monday; Wednesday and Thursday routes will be collected on Tuesday; Friday routes will be collected on Wednesday; and Saturday routes will be collected on Saturday.
The revised schedule for businesses with dumpsters and bulk containers is: Monday will operate on a regular schedule; Tuesday and Wednesday routes will operate on Tuesday; Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Wednesday.
