4-H to hold holiday crafts workshop

Does your child enjoy crafts? Children ages 5-12 are invited to the 14th annual 4-H Holiday Crafts Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 6.
This workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Iredell County Agricultural Resource Center at 444 Bristol Drive in Statesville. Youth will be divided into groups of 5 to 8 year olds and 9 to 12 year olds for the activities.
Participants will enjoy creating a variety of crafts, including holiday ornaments and decorating a T-shirt. They will also bake cookies and make another holiday snack. The cost for this is $7.00 and due at sign up.
Each child should bring their own lunch and drink marked with their name. They will also need to bring a pre-washed white t-shirt to decorate. There are only 40 spaces available and pre-registration is required. Stop by the Iredell County Center of the NC Cooperative Extension at 444 Bristol Drive in Statesville to register your child for this fun-filled day. Deadline to register is December 1st.
