Baptist Home awards Morris scholarship

During the 124th annual Session of the Woman's Baptist Home and Foreign Missionary Convention, held in Winston-Salem, Jasmine Morris was awarded a scholarship of $500 per year for two years.
Jasmine attends the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is a graduate of North Iredell High School.
She is enrolled in the I-school program and will study psychology. She is the daughter of Sylvia Allison.
She has been recognized for the National Honor Roll Society and the International Foreign Language Society. She received the National Technical Honor Society Award. She is a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, serving on numerous committees within the church and community.
She is also a member of the Youth Department of the Iredell County Missionary Union.
